10 Amazing Fallout-themed Things in Real Life

Loading...
Every now and then, when searching for Fallout related stuff, I come across an amazing fan project, mod, game, PC, prop, etc. This list will show you ten amazingly awesome, real-life, Fallout themed and original things I've ever come across on the Internet. The list is numbered, but that doesn't stand for which one is better, they are all awesome and unique so, enjoy! If you have something similar that you would like to show to the fans, please send us a message on the VTi Facebook page. This article is two pages long.

 1. Fallout-themed marriage proposal

 Original source  |  Reddit source

Fallout fan Trevor proposed to his girlfriend Alisha at the Seattle expo PAX Prime 2012. Dressed as Vault 43 dwellers, Trevor concocted a very Fallout-esque proposal that involved the Bethesda booth, lockpicking, an ammo box, and I would say at least speech skill check of 80. Over on Reddit, Alisha explains that, “I met Trevor when I got a job at the local Game Crazy (back when those existed). He seemed to have perfect timing, since every day I worked he just happened to come in; I found out later that my co-workers were helping him out by telling him when my shifts were. After a few weeks of him massively upping my sales, he asked me out. We’ve been together for three years.” Video bellow is a must-watch!

 2. Fallout-themed concept bike

By: Mikhail Smolyanov  |  Source: Autochunk

Smolyanov went for an IZH engine as the starting ground for this design exercise, and this rather old piece of technology goes really well with the whole idea. Unlike other concepts, the IZH Fallout comes with some details which render it unfeasible, if we'd somehow be able to transform any concept into a street bike. This does not make Mikhail Smolyanov's creative talent and imaginative design any less spectacular.

 3. Fallout-themed PC

Source: The Elder Scrolls Online Pinterest

Not much is known about this awesome Fallout-themed PC, except that it was shot at the QuakeCon 2013, by (probably) the Elder Scrolls Online booth team. If you know something more about this build, please send us a message on the VTi Facebook page.

 4. Fallout-themed retro radio PC mod

 By: robbaz  |  Source: robbaz

The mod places an AMD Phenom II computer into a the body of a luxor 1270W radio from 1938, which means it would fit in perfectly in the world of Fallout. The system is really all about that hollowed-out radio, but if you are curious about the specs, here goes:
  • ASUS M4N68T-M motherboard
  • Gigabyte GeForce GTX 460 768MB
  • AMD Phenom2 X4 925 2,8Ghz, AM3
  • 500GB Samsung Spinpoint F3 HD502HJ
  • Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 PRO
  • Samsung 8X Slim Slot-In, SATA
  • Corsair 4GB (2x2048MB) 1333MHz XMS3-10600
  • Fractal Design Integra 500W
Throw in some green lighting for extra awesomeness and a Nuka cola and you have yourself one killer mod. There is (was) a video showcase of this build, but it doesn't exist anymore. :(

 5. Fallout-themed version of Monopoly

By: XsimonbelmontX  |  Reddit source  |  Imgur source

An redditor and crafty husband who goes by XsimonbelmontX created a custom version of Monopoly based on the Fallout, for his wife's birthday. He spent eight months and roughly 180$ on supplies like ink cartridges and clay, painting over and pasting pictures onto a Monopoly board. In an album posted on Imgur, you can see the final result, including the Fallout-themed bottle caps that serve as the board game's currency. "It is more than just Monopoly," he wrote. "The basics are there, but I added and changed a lot of rules, there are attacks, items, perks, and different playing strategies, it's much more exciting than standard Monopoly."
