Wayside will launch a new campaign in June for the Nuka Break series.
The series was originally conceived as a film titled Fallout: Nuka Break - The Movie, which was released in early 2011 on YouTube. The film was so popular that Wayside Creations, a non-profit made up of "a team of Fallout fans", decided to turn it into a full miniseries, with the first episode being released in September 2011. A second season, funded via Kickstarter, was released on October 28, 2013. Wayside also made a second film called Red Star, which is set between the original fan film and the first season.
Fans have been thrilled with the series, hungry for more. And now Wayside will launch a new campaign in June to crowd-fund the next installment of the Nuka Break series. Fans can be pleased now, after the online web series version of Nuka Break picks up where the film left off. The trio continue to do their best to survive in the wasteland with little food and no money. Ben's appearance has been remodeled to look more like a Fallout ghoul, and Scarlett has been given a new outfit.
