Fallout 4 Rumours Conclusion

On February 18 2014 Todd Howard was interviewed on Rock paper shotgun, and said that a new game announcement would be very far away. “We don’t have a time frame for our next game announcement” he said, “but I think it’s gonna be a while.” He is forever positive and says “PC is resurgent” enthused Howard. “Skyrim did better than we’ve ever done on PC by a large, large number. And that’s where the mods are. That feeds the game for a long time. And it’s exciting that the new consoles are very PC-like. That opens up avenues for us going forward to do things that we’ve wanted to do in the past. There are kind of random ideas we’re working on right now, and it’s like, Wow, I think there’s potential here to do some really cool stuff."

That was an official info, so the point is that next Fallout installment is going to take a while. It has been a lot of unofficial rumors in past few years about new Fallout, and none was proven to be true, but there is an interesting thing going on - it appears that Bethesda is creating content for Fallout 4 Based on their jobs page, Bethesda Game Studios has filled three of those positions; Future Generation Console Programmer, Concept Artist and Character Artist. Bethesda Game Studio is still adding new staff though, including a World Artistand a World Artist Intern. Based on the jobs pages it looks like Bethesda has locked down the art staff for the early stages of Fallout 4's development as well as the staff needed to bring the game to next-gen platforms.

Fallout Fan Art
As of now, Bethesda hasn't confirmed any Fallout 4 plans for E3 but based on the latest leak, as well as the half dozen other leaks over the past two years, they should. Sadly but true, we should all wait for an official announcement of Fallout 4 in the future (no matter for how long it will take), and not to be trusted for any unofficial "leaks" and rumours.
